TEAM ENTRIES
2024 Team Entries for Semester Two Miniball Comp Opens:
For existing teams in the Semester One 2024 comp, on Monday 3rd June at 9am.
New teams on 17th June 2024 at 9am, if room permits.
Entries close Sunday 7th July or if sold out prior.
To Enter a team, a Manager (over 18yrs) needs to login to their Membership Dashboard and click on the Team Nomination tile.
What Information you will need to enter the team:
- Minimum of 7 players, Maximum of 10
- The correct players Name, Surname, DOB, Email (must be the players/parent email as this starts their registration membership)
- Credit card for deposit to hold the team’s place. It is not refundable.

Individual Player: If you do not have a team, please put your name down on the Single Player Board. This is where team managers will look if they need a player.

PLEASE NOTE:

- MWBA determines the venue for the competitions once all team entries are received and we can assess how they can best be accommodated within the available venues. Please ensure you are flexible to attend any of the listed venues.
- Regular rounds end Saturday 23rd November 2024-If your team requires a bye on a specific date due to school events, please indicate this in the notes section during the team entry process. MWBA will make every effort to accommodate such requests.
- Semi-finals Saturday 30th November 2024 (Please note this date cannot be changed)
- Finals Saturday 7th December 2024 (Please note this date cannot be changed)
WHAT DIVISION SHOULD I PUT MY TEAM IN:
Look at the majority of the players in your team and consider the below criteria:
- Division One: Representative or highly skilled players
- Division Two: Skilled players
- Division Three: Social players that are developing their skills

UNIFORMS
KEY POINTS WHEN ORDERING YOUR TEAM UNIFORM
- Tops MUST be matching & reversible.
- Shorts must be matching.
- Numbers (0-99) must be displayed on the front and back of each playing top.
- No parts of the uniform may feature external pockets or any other feature with potential to cause injury.
- Undergarments which protrude from under the uniform must be the same colour as uniform or black.
- Please note that all teams must be in correct uniform from week 4. Refer to by-laws for clarification.
Please note MWBA is not handing out bibs. All teams must have a set of reversible singlets.
MWBA is now selling black & white reversible, numbered double sided, singlet for $35 each. MWBA will be in contact once the order has been placed. Please note the uniforms have a turn around time of two weeks once we have made contact with you. Please note there is no customising of uniforms.

SCORE TABLE DUTY
For our Opal, Boomer, Miniball & Junior Competitions, all parents will be asked by the Team Manager to undertake score table duties throughout the season. Your team only needs to supply one person per game. MWBA staff will provide assistance for the first few weeks of the competition. Team mangers are asked to provide a parent roster to all members of the team so that each parent knows when it is their turn to undertake score table duties. Please note the score table official should be minimum 14years+. Score table duties involves the operating of the scoreboard and clock, Recording the game on the iPad or scoresheet and managing the possession arrow.
