TEAM ENTRIES

2025 Semester One Competition Dates:

Saturday 22nd February to Saturday 28th June 2025

2025 Semester One, Team Entries Open: 

For all teams on Monday 13th Janaury at 9am

Entries close Sunday 26th January or if sold out prior.

To Enter a team, a Manager (over 18yrs) needs to login to their Membership Dashboard and click on the Team Nomination tile.

What Information you MUST have to enter the team:

  • Minimum of 7 players, Maximum of 10
  • The correct players Name, Surname, DOB, Email (must be the players/parent email as this starts their registration membership)
  • Credit card for deposit of $190 to hold the team’s place. It is not refundable.

If you are an individual Player, MWBA will do its best to place you in a team. To register your interest as an individual player please click on the below to register.

The times and venues are where & when the comp could be played. Please make sure you are able to accomodate these as we do not refund.

Please note the semi-final are on the 21st June and the finals are on the 28th June. These dates are set and cannot be changed.

 $1405 (divided by number of players in a team.  Min 7 players, Max 10)

Player Registration: 

Renewable every 12 months

(insurance with BNSW)

$106 per player  (This includes the new Basketball Australia fee to advance the sport)

(Active Kids voucher accepted)

UNIFORMS

 KEY POINTS WHEN ORDERING YOUR TEAM UNIFORM

  • Tops MUST be matching & reversible.
  • Shorts must be matching.
  • Numbers (0-99) must be displayed on the front and back of each playing top.
  • No parts of the uniform may feature external pockets or any other feature with potential to cause injury.
  • Undergarments which protrude from under the uniform must be the same colour as uniform or black.
  • Please note that all teams must be in correct uniform from week 4. Refer to by-laws for clarification.

Please note MWBA is not handing out bibs. All teams must have a set of reversible singlets.

MWBA is now selling  black & white reversible, numbered double sided,  singlet for $40 each. MWBA will be in contact once the order has been placed. Please note the uniforms have a turn around time of  two weeks once we have made contact with you. Please note there is no customising of uniforms.

SCORE TABLE DUTY

For our Opal, Boomer, Miniball & Junior Competitions, all parents will be asked by the Team Manager to undertake score table duties throughout the season. Your team only needs to supply one person per game. MWBA staff will provide assistance for the first few weeks of the competition. Team mangers are asked to provide a parent roster to all members of the team so that each parent knows when it is their turn to undertake score table duties. Please note the score table official should be minimum 14years+. Score table duties involves the operating of the scoreboard and clock, Recording the game on the iPad or scoresheet and managing the possession arrow.

  • Regular rounds end Saturday 14th June, 2025
